Aldi cuts prices on its fruit and veg essentials

Your shopping basket will cost you less in Aldi from this week, with the UK’s cheapest supermarket slashing prices on a range of fruit and veg products.

Items in the price drop include bananas, apples, spinach and courgettes, as well as Specially Selected products such as Cotton Candy Grapes.

The latest price drop – the biggest round of cuts Aldi has made this year – has seen 55 items fall in price.

The reductions follow Which? confirming Aldi as the UK’s Cheapest Supermarket for the 15^th month in a row.

On a basket of goods, Aldi was the cheapest at £65.21, which was £14.30 lower than the most expensive supermarket, Waitrose.
