Supermarkets slash prices for Christmas

With tight budgets this festive season, many are feeling the pinch when it comes to Christmas dinner.

Thankfully, major supermarkets are dramatically reducing prices on essential vegetables, just in time for the holiday feast.

Budget-friendly veggies

Carrots, potatoes, and the all-important Brussels sprouts are among the discounted items, starting at just 15p. Yes, you read that right – 15p!

Most discounts are available to everyone, but you’ll need a Clubcard or Nectar card to pick up the savings at Tesco or Sainsbury’s.

Where to find the best deals

The exact vegetables on offer vary, so here’s a quick rundown:

The festive Super Six deal runs from 19-24 December (or while stocks last).

Winner, winner

That’s the veg sorted for less than a quid, but what about the rest?

Aldi’s got the cheapest turkey we’ve seen, and you can pick up other essentials for small change, too.

If you’ve got room in your budget for a few Christmas luxuries, check out our shopping basket from all the major supermarkets.
