30 free bonfires and fireworks displays
Bonfire Night is a time for communities to come together and enjoy fireworks, bonfires – and a bit of fun.
This year, Bonfire Night falls on a Tuesday. But the festivities kick off early and carry on into the weekend after 5 November.
Many bonfires and firework displays across Great Britain are free, so you can enjoy the festivities without breaking the bank.
Most councils will be putting on free events where you live, so check their website to find one near you.
It’s also worth checking your local Scouts groups, community groups (e.g. Rotary or Lions) or sports venues as they often put on free or low-cost events.
All of the bonfires and fireworks displays we’ve listed are free and you shouldn’t need a ticket for entry.
Please note that some events may also charge for food, other entertainment (e.g. fairground rides) and parking.
Here’s our pick of 30 free events across England, Scotland and Wales.
