Where to find the best Easter veg supermarket deals
If you’re planning a big family roast this Easter, you don’t have to blow your budget to enjoy a traditional dinner.

Supermarkets are battling it out to offer the cheapest veg in the run-up to the Easter weekend, with prices dropping as low as 8p.
We’ve rounded up the best bargains below, including what’s on offer, how much you’ll save, and whether you’ll need a loyalty card to grab the deal.
Aldi – no loyalty card needed
Aldi has cut prices on its Super Six veg range, with discounts of up to 89%. All items below are 15p each and available in stores while stocks last:
- White Potatoes (2kg) – was £1.35 → save 89%
- Carrots (1kg) – was 69p → save 78%
- Broccoli (360g) – was 79p → save 81%
- Spring Onions (100g) – was 69p → save 78%
- Loose Garlic (each) – was 37p → save 59%
- Cucumber (each) – now 59p → was 89p → save 34%
No loyalty card required – just head to your local store.
Asda – no membership needed
Asda has relaunched its Rollback programme with the lowest prices around at just 8p per item. Available until 21 April:
- Broccoli (360g)
- Carrots (1kg)
- White Potatoes (2kg)
- British Swede (each)
- Parsnips (500g)
No loyalty card needed – everyone can access these prices.
Lidl – part of their 'Pick of the Week'
Lidl’s veg offers are also down to 15p each, including:
- Carrots (1kg)
- White Potatoes (2kg)
- Green Beans (220g)
- Swede (each)
- Parsnips (500g)
- Spring Onions (bunch)
No loyalty card required – available in-store while stocks last.
Morrisons – big savings with a More card
Morrisons is offering 8p veg for More card members until 20 April. If you don’t have one, it’s free to sign up in-store or online. Here’s what you can get:
- Carrots (1kg) – was 69p → 8p
- Parsnips (500g) – was 75p → 8p
- Whole Swede – was 62p → 8p
Not a member? You can still save:
- The Best Potatoes (2kg) – now £1.10 (was £2.30)
Loyalty card required for 8p veg – but it’s free and easy to join.
Sainsbury’s – 15p veg with Nectar card
Sainsbury’s has joined the price war too, but you’ll need a Nectar card to get these 15p offers (available until 20 April):
- White Potatoes (2kg)
- Parsnips (500g)
- Swede (each)
- Carrots (1kg)
Loyalty card required – free to sign up via the Nectar app or in store.

Stock up early, as these deals are subject to availability. Once they’re gone, they’re gone. If you’re not already a member of the loyalty schemes, signing up is quick and can unlock big savings, especially if you’re feeding a family.
