Aldi is giving away £100 vouchers to help parents with uniform

Aldi is giving away £100 worth of vouchers to help parents with back-to-school shopping.

Aldi decided to offer the vouchers after conducting research which revealed parents typically spend just over £100 per child in the lead up to the new school year.

The amount parents spend soon mounts up when you add in new shoes, pencil cases and lunchboxes, as well as branded and non-branded uniform.

On top of that, parents spend around £23 each week on packed lunches and about £90 on after-school clubs or other activities throughout the school year.

Aldi decided to help ease these costs by giving away £100 vouchers to parents throughout September. The vouchers are part of Aldi’s Back-to-School Fund, which aims to help cover everyday essentials after the summer break.

How to apply for Aldi’s £100 Vouchers

If you’re a parent wanting to grab one of Aldi’s Back-to-School vouchers, just drop an email to [email protected] before Monday 30 September.

The supermarket will randomly select 100 lucky winners throughout the month. If you’re chosen, the £100 voucher will land in your inbox on or before Monday 21 October.

Liz Fox, Aldi UK's National Sustainability Director, shared, “We know the back-to-school season can be a tough time for family budgets, especially after the kids have been off during the summer holidays. As the UK’s lowest-priced supermarket, we’re here to help parents make their money stretch a bit further. That’s why we’re offering these vouchers in our Back-to-School Fund this September. It’s our way of lending a hand to cover costs like packed lunches and other school essentials.”
